Not many people know about it yet, so go check it out before it gets 🔥. ✅Former Residence of Soong Tse-ven 📌Address: No. 145 Yueyang Road (not open to the public for the time being) Built in 1928, it is a Dutch-style country garden house. The main building is a three-story brick and wood mixed structure, and the most characteristic part of the building is its fish-scale shaped folded eave sloping roof, with a gentle upper slope and a steep lower slope, curving upwards near the eave on the lower slope. It is now the location of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau for the Elderly and the Shanghai University for the Elderly. ✅Pushkin Monument 📌Address: Intersection of Taojiang Road, Yueyang Road, and Dongping Road The Russian emigrants in Shanghai built a bronze statue to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Russian poet Pushkin, and the place was also named 'Pushkin Square'. ✅Wangreen Building Located at the intersection of Yongjia Road and Taiyuan Road, it is known as the 'Wangreen Building' because the exterior is covered with ivy. The building faces northwest, and the angle of the afternoon sun is just right, making it more suitable for photography. 👉This route is about two kilometers in total, and along the way, there are many 'former sites', as well as a number of cafes and specialty shops. There aren't too many tourists, making it especially suitable for a leisurely stroll.
