Shanghai Linjia Meiliya Hotel (Hotel near Disney) I booked the hotel on a whim, and never expected it to be so comfortable. There's no need to get up early to rush to the park, you can go back to rest anytime when tired, and in the evening, you can stroll around without squeezing into public transport, waiting in line for a taxi, or going to the parking lot to get your car. The hotel environment is very nice, with a wide distribution of green plants throughout the park, and courtyard rooms with a small yard. In front of the small yard, there's a large lawn, which must look beautiful in sunny weather with the sunlight streaming in! The hotel's overall style is that of a typical Shikumen architecture complex, great for taking photos. The temperature and humidity are well controlled. It has been raining in Shanghai these days, and the room is on the ground floor, but with the air conditioning on all the time, it's neither dry nor damp, which is particularly nice. The security is reliable; although the park is very open, each area requires a card to enter. You also need to press an internal switch to open the door when going out. The service is excellent, whether it's the front desk, concierge, or housekeeping, all are thorough and comfortable. There's a distance from the hotel lobby to the outside of the park, but you can call for a shuttle service whether you're coming or going. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Disneytown, which is very convenient. The ticket concierge privilege card comes together, allowing direct entry from Disneytown into the park without having to queue and go around the lake. The facilities in the room are not top-tier luxury, but they are very practical and well-equipped.
