Shanghai's Secret Garden: The Tulip Seas of Daning Park

At the end of March, the scent of spring permeates the entire city, and the tulip seas are not just found in one place. There's no need to travel to the Dutch tulip towns, as the heart of Shanghai has its own vast tulip seas. On sunny days, go out and explore this beautiful springtime! Daning Park, located in Jing'an District of Shanghai, is easily accessible, just a short walk from Exit 3 of Subway Line 1. There's no admission fee or reservation required, so you can come and enjoy anytime. There are two main areas for tulips in Daning Park. One is near the north gate of Daning Park, where there are large patches of mixed-color tulips. Be sure to visit on a sunny day, when the sunlight showers down, it's like a splendid oil painting, and the flowers here are already in full bloom. The other is the Roman Square, where many different colors and varieties of tulips are gathered, arranged in blocks along the road. Paired with the central windmill house, cows, convenience house, and trees, taking photos with the open scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful, as if you're in an animated world! About 80% of the tulips here have bloomed, with several colors still unfolding. The park is quite large, so it's recommended to set aside half a day to stroll around leisurely. Currently, the park's crabapple flowers, cherry blossoms, and February orchids are also in full bloom.
