Shanghai Jiading | Garden Courtyard | Visit Jiading. The Huilongtan Confucius Temple is under repair, while the Huilongtan next door is dignified and comfortable. The first time I went there I didn't know I needed a ticket. Seeing that the Pavilion Lake was so close, I thought I could reach the other side by going around the lake. But I ended up walking on a street (Shaxia Road) that was surrounded by a small part of the city wall, and the South Gate stood before me. The ticket cost 5 yuan. I didn't show my tour guide card to enter as a tourist. Huilongtan was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The then magistrate Xiong Mi dug a pool in front of the Confucius Temple, and the river merged into a pool. It has a history of more than 400 years. The park is divided into two parts, north and south. The southern part is composed of the natural landscapes of Huilongtan and Yingkui Mountain, while the northern part is dominated by buildings and cultural relics. When I was touring the park, I moved toward whatever I saw based on my mind. It took me an hour to get to the singing stage, the monument, and the Kuixing Pavilion. Later, I lingered in Beiyuan for two or three hours and didn't know the way home. The Singing Stage, also known as the Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix Stage, was built in 1889 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu and was relocated from the former Zhabei Hubei Money Industry Guild Hall. It seemed familiar to me when I first saw it. It turns out that there was also a similar stage in the newly opened MixC on Suzhou River. The building is richly decorated, and the caisson ceiling is particularly exquisite. The spirally clustered brackets in the ceiling are decorated with hundreds of red lacquer and gold birds, which are very eye-catching. There are stories carved on the four walls The relief carving is delicate in knife technique and the shape is lifelike. Kuixing Pavilion is square in shape, has two floors and is about nine meters high. There are four gates: East Azure Dragon, West White Tiger, South Vermillion Bird, and North Black Tortoise. I followed the layers of stairs up to the top and had a panoramic view of the world around the lake. The soaring cloud-high peak in front of Yi'an Hall displays the four major characteristics of Taihu stone: thinness, wrinkles, transparency and leakage. It is handsome, majestic, crystal clear and exquisite. It was originally located in front of the Zhuyun Hall of the Zhou Family Ancestral Hall on East Street in Jiading Town and was moved to its current location in 1978. The front is engraved with the three characters "Zhuyunfeng" in Song Jue's seal script. The Wanfo Pagoda was built in an unknown time, but it is thought to have been built in the Song Dynasty. The original site was in Shita Lane outside the south gate of Jiading Ancient City. It was moved to Huilongtan Park in 1982. Made of granite, the tower is square in shape and consists of two levels. The side length of the base is 2.4 meters and the total height is about 4 meters.
