The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall is located at 1380 Fuxing Middle Road, Shanghai, with a building area of 19,950 square meters, composed of a 1,200-seat concert hall and a 400-seat chamber music hall. The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall was led by world-class masters Arata Isozaki and Yasuhisa Toyota in design, and is the first "fully floating building" built on springs in China. The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall uses the most advanced multimedia technology, and the 10 sound reflectors in the hall can project images at the same time, and perform synchronous performances with any venue in the world. The chamber music hall also has the function of a 3D recording studio, filling the gap in Shanghai's lack of a large professional symphony orchestra recording studio. Its location is on Line 10 of the rail transit, and the underground track is only 6 meters away from the concert hall, and the vibration and noise caused by the speeding train. In order to overcome the noise and vibration interference of the nearby subway line 10, the concert hall is set up with 300 shock absorbers on the reinforced concrete piers deep into the ground 16 meters, and the two halls are lifted up to become the first "fully floating building" in China.
