Shandong Road Trip Guide | Jinan, Yantai, Weihai, I love every stop

🚗 I've been to Shandong three or four times, but I almost always go to Qingdao 🚗 This time I was inspired by the "Blue Whale" in Weihai, so I took the northern route 🚗 I drove from Zhengzhou, stopped in Jinan, passed through Yantai, and arrived in Weihai —————— 🌊 Shandong: 6-day, 6-night road trip guide —————— 🗺️ Road trip route 💬 It's a bit far to drive directly from Zhengzhou to Weihai, and I didn't want to miss the scenery along the way, so I visited four cities in one go Jinan, Weifang, Yantai (Penglai), Weihai (Rongcheng) —————— 1️⃣st stop: Jinan 👉 Depart from Zhengzhou in the afternoon, arrive in Jinan in the evening, stay near Daming Lake 👉 Get up early, walk around the ancient city, 20,000 steps in total, just right for a day · 2️⃣nd stop: Weifang 👉 There was a lantern show in Jinan, so I left late and stopped in Weifang the night before 👉 Morning: Kite Museum; afternoon: Shiwuyuan District; arrive in Penglai in the evening · 3️⃣rd stop: Yantai 👉 Yantai's Penglai District is large, with many ticketed attractions, but there are few people and beautiful scenery, and feeding seagulls is fun Penglai Pavilion, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area, and Sanxianshan are all close to each other, so you can choose one 👉 Head to Yantai City in the afternoon, the city is also large, there are many places to visit, but 2 days is enough Pass by Wencheng Castle, visit Time Tower in the evening, check in at Lonely Whale, stay in the city 👉 Second day: Morning: Golden Beach Coastal Park, Suochengli for lunch Afternoon: Moon Bay, Fisherman's Wharf, Yangma Island, stay in Weihai · 4️⃣th stop: Weihai 👉 2–3 days in Weihai is best, visit the landmarks in the city and the Blue Whale in Rongcheng 👉 Drive along the coast on the first day, counterclockwise from Weihai Station (or take it slow and split it into 2 days) Morning: Yuehai Park, Weihai Park, Xingfu Park, three parks, three landmarks Afternoon: Maotou Mountain, five viewing platforms (2, 3, 8, 10, 11) Evening: Torch 8th Street, Xiaoshi Island, Sunset Castle, watch the sunset and end the trip 👉 Last day: Morning: Swan Lake to watch the sunrise, check in at the Blue Whale Afternoon: Naxianghai, no sunset, you can return directly —————— ❤️ Travel tips ❗️ Museums are closed on Mondays, so be careful ❗️ Yantai Mountain is closed in winter, you can skip it, but the port is also spectacular ❗️ Jinshitan in Weihai is mostly closed in winter, and you need a ticket, so you can skip it ❗️ The wind is strong and cold by the sea, but with a scarf and earmuffs, it won't be too cold ✅ There are many free parking spots along the coast in Yantai, so it's convenient for tourists ✅ If you want to take photos in Weihai, go to Torch 8th Street and the Blue Whale in the morning
