Shache Old Town Memory Exhibition Hall

➡️ After visiting the remains of the city wall, I saw a group of people lining up in front of a venue, which seemed to be a collective activity of some organization. I asked the security guard of the venue, and the exhibition hall was not open, but the kind security guard made an exception and let me in to visit, mainly because I was associated with the organization outside. 🏰 The Shache Memory Hall displays the history of Shache Old Town, showcases the achievements of the old town's renovation, introduces the cultural relics protection units in Shache, and the various ancient mosques. 🗺️ The Eurasian Continental Silk Road map centrally displays the scattered Western Region city-states along the Silk Road. Historically, Shache was located at the crossroads of the southern and central routes of the Silk Road. Since the Han Dynasty, Shache has been a bustling Silk Road hub, with merchants and a convergence of goods, leaving behind a rich and long history and remains, clearly showing the 3000-year history of civilization development and more than 2000 years of urban construction history in Shache, systematically sorting out the history of the Shache area.
