As soon as I arrived in Seville, my eyes were attracted by the sunshine-filled Plaza de España. Many people say that Seville is a passionate city, but when I stood in the Plaza de España, I felt that there was a unique tranquility and softness here. There are leisurely people in the square, some are travelers, and there are also many locals. They are either standing or sitting, looking quietly into the distance, or talking to each other in low voices. Here, there is not much rush, but more calmness and freedom. I noticed a little boy playing with his father in the corridor. The sunlight shone on them and their warm smiles were captured in my camera. At that moment, I suddenly realized that the most beautiful moments of traveling are not necessarily the grand and spectacular ones, but the gentle little ones. Walking further along the corridor, you will occasionally meet old people sitting on benches basking in the sun, or couples stopping to take pictures. On their faces, there is an unspoken expression of satisfaction and tranquility. This relaxed and lazy atmosphere is the most charming thing about Seville. If you stay in the square long enough, you might even see a street performer playing guitar. The sound of the piano echoed under the arch of the corridor, mixed with whispers from afar, and time seemed to become gentler. I especially like to find a seat close to the artist, listen quietly for a while, watch the tourists slowly pass by, and let my mind wander freely between the music and the sunshine. The Plaza de España in Seville is not just a place for sightseeing, it is more like a gentle encounter with time. Here, you don’t need to rush or look for scenery deliberately, because every unintentional turn will bring you a surprise. Tips: The square is most beautiful in the evening, when the tiles become more colorful under the setting sun. There are many small restaurants near the square where you can try traditional Spanish tapas. If you want to take better photos, it is recommended to walk slowly along the corridor and stop at any time to feel the changing light and shadow. There are more tourists during the weekends, so you can choose to go there in the early morning to enjoy the tranquility. The Plaza de España in Seville is like an open storybook, quietly waiting for you to read carefully. This encounter is not for a quick check-in, but for a proper farewell to those soft moments. Looking back, every smile and every ray of sunshine are worth savoring slowly.
