Church of St. Louis of France - Seville, Spain

This Catholic temple is located not so far from the Alameda de Hercules gardens and is an outstanding example of 18th-century Baroque architecture. It was designed by Leonardo de Figueroa, who was considered the architect of the “true Seville”. The building was built between 1699 and 1730. The temple is built in the shape of a Greek cross with an impressive dome and vault. In the interior, note the church's main altar, dedicated to King Louis IX of France, and the spiral-shaped salononomic columns. #europetrip
