In the trianera Plaza del Altozano is the “Monument to Flamenco Art” The work was made by the Sevillian sculptor Jesús Gavira in 1993. It is an allegorical sculpture that represents a flamenco woman holding a guitar in one hand and resting one foot on an anvil, representing the three aspects of the flamenco world, dancing, singing and guitar playing.
