Tosokchon Samgyetang

#mytripvlog Tosokchon - a popular place to head to for Samgyetang (Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup) in Seoul. It is near to the Gyeongbokgung Station where many people like to have a meal after a visit to the most famous Imperial Palace in Seoul. The ambience at this Hanok-style restaurant was nice. We loved sitting on the wooden floors, eating on old-school wooden tables The bowl of Ginseng Chicken was fantastic. A whole chicken stuffed with glutinous rice came in a bowl of milky broth filled with garlic, dates, and ginseng shreds. The meat was so tender. For a stronger flavour, add a little salt to it. On the side, I enjoyed the kimchi that was served together.
