INDICA/JAFA Brewery

#koreatrip Another delight in INDICA is that it serves extremely fresh draft beer brewed from JAFA Brewery, which is located literally right next to the restaurant. It has 6 different draft beers in the menu. We tried Masala Saison and Helles Lager. The characteristics of the brewery is that its beers have the interesting aroma of spices from India. The aroma might be a bit strong, but they go perfectly well with the dishes from INDICA. It definitely enhances the experience at the restaurant. We later found out that Masala Saison won the Gold Award at the Asia Beer Championship! Its Naan had a little weak taste to a degree that does not interrupt the taste of dishes. It was a bit thicker than that from other Indian restaurant, which made its inner part soft and chewy. The ade was intriguing as well, as the citrous yuja and spicy cinnamon blend with each other. The owner was very cordial. He did not hesitate explaining everything in the menu even when the restaurant was busy. We were very pleased. If you want to experience the genuine Indian vibe in Seoul, we strongly recommend you to visit this place.
