Brewda Coffee: Perfect for a quick break in Anguk-dong

From Anguk Station, head towards Changdeokgung Palace, turn left on the road just before Hyundai Engineering & Construction, pass the famous Cafe ONION and go a little further, and you will find the small cafe Brewda. It looks like a takeout only shop, but you can also eat inside at the back (the Insadong branch (in front of the Gyeonggi City Ruins Exhibition Hall) seems to only offer takeout). The prices of coffee and other drinks are reasonable, and I ordered Ssanghwa tea. The portions are generous. You can order outside the store and there is a kiosk screen inside the store. You can see how cute the exterior is from the entrance on the right side rather than from the front. The interior is lovely with the warmth of antique wood, typical of Anguk, where not only hanok but also many old houses are preserved. Therefore, the inside of the store is small, but it is relaxing. There is also an open cafe corner with small tables and chairs outside. You can also get a simple meal, and they have sandwiches🥪 and bagels🥯. It's a good place to take a short break when you're tired of walking.
