Cheong Hwa Won is a Taiwanese-style Chinese restaurant in Shinchon. It was almost time for last orders, but from outside it looked like the place was full of customers, so we went in. The free side dishes were something like peanuts and pickled mustard greens. I ordered beef knife-cut noodles and a bowl of chicken seasoned like sweet and sour pork. The noodles in the knife-cut noodles were chewy and the meat was tendon. The smell of star anise was only faint, but not too strong, making it very easy to eat. The chicken bowl was seasoned like Japanese sweet and sour pork, so it was the perfect menu for Japanese people.
