I visited Veranda, a healing spot located in the alleys near Gyeongbokgung Station in Sajik-dong, Jongno-gu. Unlike its neat hanok-like exterior, the interior has a cozy bookstore-like atmosphere. Most people are quietly reading or working, and some are having conversations. The warm lighting and gentle music make it a great place to come alone. I ordered the Veranda Mocha. It's only available hot, so if you prefer iced coffee, keep that in mind.
