The broad, open square is surrounded by towering buildings and iconic landmarks, creating a dynamic blend of modern and historical significance. At the heart of the square stands the impressive statues of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Sejong the Great, two revered figures in Korean history. The nearby Gwanghwamun Gate, leading to Gyeongbokgung Palace, adds to the grandeur of the area. As I strolled through the square, I could feel the pulse of the city while reflecting on its deep-rooted past.
