The Passage Connecting Hamhwadang and Jipgyeongdang

This is the passage connecting Hamhwadang and Jipgyeongdang inside Gyeongbokgung Palace! It is located north of Hongbokjeon and south of Hyangwonjeong. Although they are separate buildings, they are connected by a corridor and are considered a single area, so documents often mention these two buildings together. It's like twin buildings, you could say? These buildings didn't exist until the reconstruction of Gyeongbokgung Palace, but they were newly built during King Gojong's reign on the site of the old Chunhuidang and Bogwangdang.
