Seoul's Five Grand Palaces Pilgrimage

I spent two days touring the five grand palaces of Seoul, not looking too closely, because they are not as small as I imagined. 🚶🏻 Gyeongbokgung Palace, which I have visited too many times, has had many buildings reconstructed compared to a few years ago, and its scale remains the largest. 🚶🏻 Changdeokgung Palace, a World Cultural Heritage site, is the best-preserved palace architecture in Seoul. It served as a substitute for Gyeongbokgung Palace for over two hundred years when it was damaged, and it is also the best place for photography. The Gwanghwamun Square in front of the gate is worth visiting. 🚶🏻 Deoksugung Palace, once used as a detached palace, is now a park, and the interior is not open to the public. 🚶🏻 Deoksugung Palace, opposite Seoul City Hall, is a park next to a busy street. 🚶🏻 Changgyeonggung Palace is connected to Changdeokgung Palace, with many garden plants. 🚶🏻 Changgyeonggung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace were once part of the same complex as the Jongmyo Shrine. During the occupation, they were damaged and divided into two parts, and now the Jongmyo Shrine is also a World Cultural Heritage site.
