[Cherry Blossom Viewing at Seokchon Lake๐ธ๐] The Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual event, but just like last year, the festival will not be held this year due to COVID-19, and the lakeside promenade will be temporarily closed๐ฅฒ Seokchon Lake Closure Period: April 1 ~ April 11 (11 days) Temporary Opening: 5 AM ~ 9 AM This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed earlier than last year, so the buds began to bloom and the flowers began to appear a week ago. How about wearing a mask before the closure and going quickly to see the cherry blossoms for a while? [Jamsil Seokchon Lake Outing๐ฑ] Dessert Restaurant Orange๐ This place, which looks like you've been teleported to the South of France, is Cafe Orange near Jamsil Seokchon Lakeโฃ๏ธ It was a place where you could really feel the meticulous attention to detail put into every part of the space, from the entrance to the interior design. Every single prop, the atmosphere, the music selection, the delicious desserts, and the coffee, it was a perfect cafe! I visited because it was famous for its strawberry desserts, but unfortunately, since I visited after the strawberry season, the strawberry desserts were out of season ๐ฅบ Unfortunately, I ordered mugwort gateau, cafe latte, and Americano and tasted them! I think the first time I properly tried mugwort desserts was at Orange. When I first saw mugwort gateau on the menu, I had no idea what it would taste like, but it was a whole new world๐ The cream and sheet full of the bitter mugwort flavor, and the crunchy and sweet lotus-like crumble went well together! I respect the owner for coming up with such a combination๐คญ Both the cafe latte and the Americano had such a harmonious taste, aroma, and acidity that it was great to enjoy with dessert! ๐ผ Seokchon Lake Outing I went to Seokchon Lake with my last roommate in college! As many people know, the walking path of Seokchon Lake is refreshing, has blue nature, and is wide, so many people exercise or walk day and night! Lotte World, seen while walking around Seokchon Lake, looked like a palace from a fairy tale! I really wanted to go, but I promised myself that I would definitely go when the COVID-19 situation is over! The place in the second picture is 'pres', a cafe that sells croffles and coffee! If you visit Jamsil or the Seokchon Station area, I always visit this place because you can see the night view of Lotte Tower at night, and the outdoor terrace offers a panoramic view of the city! The combination of banana and chocolate ice cream in croffles is also really great (this is my subjective review โก ) These days, it's hard to go anywhere, so I recommend visiting Seokchon Lake for a walk!
