Jeju Green Tea Museum

The Green Tea Museum in Jeju Island, also known as the OSULLOC Tea Museum, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Jeju Island and is also the first tea-themed museum in Korea. It is located at the entrance of Seogwipo Tea Garden in Jeju Island. The building has a unique shape, like a huge green tea cup. Opening Hours: 9am to 6pm daily. The museum is surrounded by a vast organic tea garden, with Hallasan, South Korea's highest peak, in the distance. The scenery is pleasant and shrouded in clouds and mist. The building itself combines Eastern and Western, traditional and modern design styles. The museum displays the history, culture, tea utensils and tea making process of Korean tea. Visitors can learn about the evolution of Korean tea from ancient times to modern times, as well as the importance of tea in Korean society. "TEA STONE" in the museum is a tea culture experience space where visitors can participate in tea tasting courses and learn how to make tea, taste tea and the tea ceremony. The Tea House at the Tourism Experience Museum offers a variety of green tea drinks and snacks, among which green tea ice cream and green tea cake are the most popular delicacies. The museum shop sells OSULLOC brand green tea products, including tea leaves, tea sets, cosmetics, etc. The tea garden outside the museum is a great place for taking photos and taking a walk. Visitors can stroll through the tea fields and enjoy the fresh aroma of tea. There is no entrance fee to the museum, but some experience courses (such as TEA STONE's tea tasting course) require advance reservation and payment.
