Teikyozan Gokurakuzan Saihoji Access: About 40 minutes by car from Sendai Miyagi IC on the Tohoku Expressway Recommended points: Visit the power spot Saihoji Temple, then eat the hot, crispy, and delicious fried tofu at the nearby Jyogi Tofu Shop. They sell 10,000 pieces a day. At 150 yen each, I had three pieces for breakfast.
