Travelogue of Seda
A round trip of three days, with a long journey, just to see the charm of Seda.
The day before the trip, due to heavy snow, all the tickets booked online were cancelled. Worried about the trip being ruined, I contacted the scalpers in advance, in case I couldn't buy tickets, I would buy from the scalpers.
I was lucky. I arrived at the Seda Jinma Distribution Center in the morning and just bought the last bus ticket to the Buddhist Academy in the morning.
From the distribution center to the Buddhist Academy is about twenty to thirty kilometers. Along the way, the whole area of red houses is in sight, feeling that the journey of more than ten hours is not in vain.
Seda is very beautiful, as beautiful as another world.
Regrettably, when I walked down from the altar city to the library and prepared to return to the altar city, I suddenly felt dizzy and had altitude sickness, so I couldn't see the sky burial.
Perhaps it's just not destined with the sky burial.
When we were in the altar city, a Tibetan child came to us and said he could take us there. It costs 50 per person, which is actually taking a bus down the mountain and then walking up the mountain. Those who went said it was very tiring and not very pleasant in the end.
I had no feeling at all when I went to Yulong Snow Mountain at 4680 meters above sea level, and I didn't have altitude sickness at 4000 meters above sea level in Western Sichuan, but I had severe altitude sickness in Seda. Friends who go to Seda still need to be mentally prepared, bring oxygen, just in case.
There is a hospital in the Buddhist Academy, but it only opens at three o'clock in the afternoon in winter.
You don't have to take the sightseeing bus into the mountain when you go down the mountain. You can take the bus down the mountain. There are many drivers who pull passengers back to Chengdu or Seda County. You need to bargain. Some drivers charge 70 per person to Seda. If you get on the bus and there are no other passengers, you may not leave for half an hour or an hour.
My friends took a 7-seater car and paid 10 yuan per person to Seda County.
The pilgrimage place for purifying the soul|| Seda
||Seda. Seda, located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Plateau. The plateau scenery of Seda County is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, countless maroon wooden houses are built along the mountain, the red that spreads all over the pits and valleys and spreads all over the slopes on all sides, stretches endlessly, and you can't see the edge at a glance. In the early morning, with the chanting, one can feel a kind of purification of the soul. At night, the lights gradually light up, illuminating the sky above Seda, which is incomparably beautiful. If you want to let go of some trivial matters, come on a pilgrimage of vision and soul.
Thinking of going to Seda, I advise you to think carefully!!!
Thinking of going to Seda to purify your soul? I advise you to think thrice! Seda's ethnic and folk religious culture is profound and extensive, it is also one of the birthplaces of 'The Epic of King Gesar', with Gesar culture and temple religious culture representing a very important position in ethnic and folk culture. In addition to religious temples, there are also attractions like the Hoxi Wildlife Conservation Area, Seda Five-Color Sea, and other beautiful sceneries.
Journey to Seda: A mysterious pilgrimage in Tibet, dare you come?
Sichuan Seda is a very beautiful place, the climate gradually cools from October to November, with a large temperature difference between day and night. The daytime temperature is around 10-15 degrees, and the night temperature will drop to around 0 degrees. The local customs are very distinctive, here are some suggestions:
Day 1: After arriving in Seda, you can visit the Seda Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. You can visit the monastery and learn about Tibetan Buddhist culture and beliefs. You can stay in local homestays or hotels at night.
Day 2: You can go to the grasslands around Seda County, where there are beautiful grassland scenery and rich Tibetan folk culture. You can ride horses, tug-of-war on the grassland, watch Tibetan song and dance performances, etc. You can return to Seda Monastery at night and enjoy the night view on the platform in the monastery.
Day 3: You can visit other nearby attractions, such as Nianbaoyuze, Baiyu Temple, Wengda Town, etc. These places have unique scenery and culture, and you can deeply understand the local customs and lifestyle.
During the trip, respect the local customs and religious beliefs, and do not violate local taboos. At the same time, due to the high altitude and thin air, it is recommended to carry some common medicines and health products for emergencies.

Mordor-like Mo Stone Park | A Unique Scene in Western Sichuan
When you think of Western Sichuan, you definitely imagine snow-capped mountains, forests, grasslands, temples, and other scenery. But you would never expect that Western Sichuan also has such a unique scenic area. It is the dark-themed Mo Stone Park. When you are in Mo Stone Park, it feels like being on an alien planet. This time, it is a unique stone forest landscape in Western Sichuan, where every photo you take looks like a blockbuster.
📍Location: Bamei Town, Daocheng County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan.
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to drive by yourself or join a tour group. You can also take a bus from Chengdu to Daocheng.
☑️Ticket: The entrance fee for the scenic area is 60 yuan, and the sightseeing car is 20 yuan.
🔥Highlights: In the scenic area, you can rent a spacesuit for photos, costing 100-150 yuan per person, or ride a horse for about 150 yuan.
🛣Route: There are two gates to the scenic area, usually enter from the front gate and exit from the back gate. There is a geological museum near the back gate, but it is uphill all the way, so it is not recommended.
🚩Note: At an altitude of 3200-3500 meters, please do not run or jump to avoid altitude sickness. The UV radiation is very strong in high-altitude areas, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun.
The filming location of 'Ghost Blows Out the Light' features an exotic style from outer space
🏨 Moshishan Park
📍Detailed Address:
Moshishan Park Scenic Area is located at the junction of Zhonggu Village and Kama Village in Bamei Town, Daofu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China.
The area is about 5 square kilometers, with an altitude of about 3500 meters. It is the only plateau karst forest landscape in China, with an admission fee of 60 RMB per person.
🌟Highlights:
Moshishan Park is known as the 'Geological Bermuda of China'. The entire scenic area is filled with strange mountains and rocks, making it a great place for photography, especially on cloudy days, which enhances the photo effect. The rocks in Moshishan Park are actually dark grey, not as black as they appear without a filter!
❤Recommended Reason:
White and black are colors that make for easy photography, but seeing many young ladies in colorful ethnic costumes also looks surprisingly good!
👍Most Recommended:
The most famous spot is the Exotic Planet, where there is a sign that reads 'Must drive on Route 318 in this lifetime', which is a popular checkpoint for many self-driving tourists in Western Sichuan.
Next to it is the space suit experience station. Put on an astronaut suit and walk through this magical stone forest, and it feels like you're traversing outer space.
Following the plank road, you can enter into a world of ravines and gullies. The 'Bone Gully' from 'Ghost Blows Out the Light: The Kunlun Shrine' is located here, with a chilling scene of bones scattered everywhere.
🗓Itinerary Arrangement:
Moshishan Park has only one touring route, from high to low without backtracking. Just follow the well-constructed wooden path, and after the tour, take the sightseeing bus back from the back door.
Moshishan Park has two entrances. If you take the sightseeing bus, you enter from the main entrance; if not, you enter from the side entrance. The sightseeing bus ride takes 5 minutes, while walking would take about 1 hour.
The drop-off point of the sightseeing bus is the highest point of the scenic area. Walking along the trail is all downhill, and the route is very reasonable. You can overlook from high places and also enter closely from the branching plank roads.
After touring the entire route, you will exit from the side door and then take the sightseeing bus back to the parking lot. So, it is generally recommended to spend 20 RMB on the bus ticket for a round trip, which saves both time and effort.
📝Tips:
1. Tagong Grassland and Balang Mountain are not far from here. We went directly to Balang to watch the sunset and the stars after leaving Moshishan.
2. Drone aerial photography of the scenic area is even more spectacular! Now, for safety reasons, many cliffs have been fenced off, so try not to climb over them when taking photos. Be constantly aware of altitude sickness in the plateau region.
Avoid the crowds this May Day and discover the stunning, lesser-known spots in Western Sichuan!

D6: Xinduqiao - S434 Road - Honghaizi - Kangding - Chengdu

The section from Zheduo Mountain to Xinduqiao is under construction, pay attention to the one-way traffic time to avoid traffic jams.
Recently, there has been snowfall in Western Sichuan, remember to bring warm coats and hats and scarves, and keep warm while playing in the snow.
Book your hotel in advance, as rooms are tight during the May Day period.
Bring a thermos, don't drink cold water when the weather is cold.
Don't forget to apply sunscreen, the UV rays are strong when it's sunny!
🎉Come to Western Sichuan and enjoy your May Day holiday! Avoid the crowds and enjoy the beauty of the secret realms all to yourself! 🌄🏕️🐎🌳

How to shoot the most beautiful in Seda? These places and photography guides are shared with you!
, a sacred place.
is a gem in the hearts of every photographer. It is a piece of jade, and it is also a place where countless photographers are eager to explore and explore.
[Best location]
1
On the highest slope of the Buddhist College, it is also the most magnificent place. Arriving at the Mandala, I was fortunate enough to stand on a high point overlooking the valley. There are people who are long-headed everywhere, and there are people who are turning around. Also go through it! Turn on 108 laps for the one hundred and eight heroes that have emerged and are about to appear in your life.
1
shooting skills: If you want to take portrait photos, a stable tripod is a must. The angle between the position and the hall and the sun is about 100 degrees. Sidelight shooting can better shape light and shadow. The whole hall is shining brightly under the light of the morning sun. The houses around it are like the stars holding the moon, and the effect of the blur is better.
2 The southernmost hillside of the Buddhist College
From the Larong Hotel to the hillside is about 2 kilometers round and round, and friends who drive by themselves can drive directly to this hillside. For many photographers, this is also a must. Personally, I really like the night view here. It is very memorable and very beautiful to take a commemorative photo here.
Whether it is a Buddhist college or a celestial burial, it will strongly impact your senses. Maybe in the future and to blend in with the complex tastes, you have to rush on the road, but everything you see here will make you take a long time to recollect. The Buddhist College is gradually being dismantled, and it is late, and it may have changed.
