Koh Hin Ngam, Tarutao National Park

Hin Ngam Island is the first Global Geopark in Thailand and the fifth in ASEAN. The entire beach is full of black rocks, varying in size from small to large. But the similarity of all rocks is their smooth roundness. When exposed to water and sunlight, they turn into a beautiful shiny color. The formation of these rocks is related to geological processes. The source is located in the southern part of the island, where water currents cause the rocks of “Hornfels” to protrude.
