HTMS Chakri Naruebet

HTMS Chakri Naruebet is moored at the Chuk Samet Pier, Sattahip Naval Base. It is a VTOL and helicopter carrier of the Royal Thai Navy. It is the largest warship in the Royal Thai Navy. It was built at the Bazan Shipyard in Rota, Spain and arrived in Thailand on August 9, 1997. In normal times, Chakri Naruebet is a base of operations to protect the nation's interests at sea, help people in need, and preserve the marine environment. In times of war, Chakri Naruebet will be the flagship, which is the ship that controls and commands the fleet at sea to control air defense operations, naval combat, and submarine suppression of those who invade the country. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with no admission fee. Foreign tourists must write a letter to the Commander of the Fleet, Sattahip, Chonburi 20180. If you want to visit as a group, please inform the name of the agency or group, the number of visitors, and the date and time you want to visit and send it to the Fleet.
