Watch the HTMS Chakri Naruebet

HTMS Chakri Naruebet is the flagship and the first and only aircraft carrier of the Royal Thai Navy. It is 183 meters long and is located at Samet Pier, Sattahip Port, Sattahip Naval Base, Chonburi Province. It is stationed in the combat force of the Royal Thai Navy. It is a ship built in Spain. The ship model was imported from the Spanish Navy. The propulsion system, flight control system, and weapon system were improved. During the service on March 20, 1997, it was used for tactical missions and disaster relief throughout Thai waters, both on the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. HTMS Chakri Naruebet has provided assistance in various incidents, such as Typhoon Sitar and Typhoon Linda.
