The village of Saqqara

The village of Saqqara is one of the villages belonging to the Badrashin Center in the Giza Governorate in the Arab Republic of Egypt. According to the 2006 statistics, the total population in Saqqara was 32,112, of whom 16,481 were men and 15,631 were women. Saqqara contains ancient Egyptian royal tombs for the families that ruled ancient Egypt from the capital, Memphis. It also contains a number of pyramids, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which dates back to the era of the Egyptian Third Dynasty, which is the oldest known complete stone building historically, in addition to a number of archaeological terraces. #the village of Saqqara#egypt #giza
