At Hokkaido University, there are buildings, green spaces, creeks, woods, and farms in the early days of the Meiji period. It symbolizes the bust of Dr. Clarke of Peking University, the Furukawa lecture hall with more than 100 years of history, the comprehensive museum of extinct animal bone specimens thousands of years ago, the Ginkgo avenue of more than 70 tall ginkgo trees, and the second farm used by Sapporo Agricultural School.
