📍 Caminho da Entrosa, Madeira, Portugal 🇵🇹 Have you heard about Caminho da Entrosa in Madeira? There is no information about it in the official guidebooks. That's why I’ve added this trail to my list of underrated places in Madeira 😎 It is only 1,5 km one way (3 km round trip), so this route can hardly be called ‘hike’, rather it’s just a walk 💁🏼‍♂️ Nevertheless, about 700 meters of hike at the very beginning is an uphill climb to a height of 200 meters above the ocean. But when you go up, you realize that it was really worth it. This short 3 km hike takes you through stunning natural beauty, with breathtaking views of the island’s rugged coastline and lush greenery. Madeira is often referred to as the Hawaii of Europe, and it’s easy to see why. With its warm climate, diverse landscapes, and welcoming locals, it’s a paradise for nature lovers and hikers alike.
