Explore Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park

Sanya is not just about beaches; the tropical rainforest parks are also worth a visit! Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park is perfect for a short visit. Spend a few hours there and then head to Yalong Bay for some beach fun, all in one day! We booked tickets for the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park online at 10 AM and drove to Parking Lot No. 4, the closest to the entrance, with free parking. We opted for tickets that included the sightseeing bus, without any additional activities. The sightseeing bus route includes: First stop - Orchid Valley, Second stop - Non-II Main Scenic Area, Third stop - Hilltop Park. We started our reverse tour at Hilltop Park, which features attractions like the Glass Bridge, Dragon Sculpture, Rainforest Cinema, the "If You Are the One" Wedding House, and Rainforest Flying. We climbed the tower at Hilltop Park for a stunning view of Yalong Bay. We also visited the "If You Are the One" Wedding House, famous for a scene from the movie. Lastly, we checked out the Rainforest Flying, which reportedly takes you from the hilltop to Orchid Valley, but we didn't try it. Next, we took the bus to the Dragon Bridge stop and walked around the Non-II Main Scenic Area. The bridge, featured in a movie, requires a fee to cross, which seemed unnecessary. The Smoke Pavilion offers a great view of the bridge, perfect for photos. The third stop was Orchid Valley, where we walked around to see various plants and flowers, but it wasn't very impressive. After a quick tour, we took the bus out of the park. Yalong Bay Beach Around 3 PM, we left the park and checked into our hotel. After a short rest, we headed to Yalong Bay Beach in the evening. It's advisable to stay close to the beach. The beach is long and crowded, with some areas having fine sand and others coarse. The atmosphere and scenery are great for water activities. After a tiring day, we dined at a food court by the beach, choosing a place called Qiong Ba Xian, which was affordable and tasty. After dinner, we strolled back to the parking lot and drove back to the hotel. Sun Bay Road Sun Bay Mountain Road is touted as the most beautiful road in Sanya, but it was disappointing. Besides some coastal views, there wasn't much to see, and there were no parking spots for photos.
