Behind the hotel, facing the sea, there is a giant cashew-shaped artificial pool with an area of 20,000 square meters, known as a "private ocean." Various recreational facilities surround the pool, dividing it into dining areas, water sports areas, and simulated sea swimming areas. The dining area features Southeast Asian-style beach barbecues and a fresh seafood restaurant. The dining environment of the fresh seafood restaurant resembles a wooden cage, which looks very impressive from the outside. It also has a floating dining table set in the center of the large pool, accessible by boat. The water sports area offers activities such as double kayaks, sailing, and water skiing, which are not free, and the prices... I didn't inquire. The simulated sea swimming area replicates a small beach, and the entire "private ocean" is filled with real seawater, filtered and changed every 32 hours. The swimming area is free for hotel guests. Additionally, on the left side of the hotel, there is a children's water play area with three or four shallow pools, a water slide, and a tipping bucket. A group of children plays happily there. According to friends, the children's playground inside the hotel is also very popular with kids, colorful and full of fun, with more than 20 free activities for guests. Walking along the path by the private ocean, you will find a green lawn surrounded by dense tropical plants like palm trees, connecting to the beach. Here, you can see many trendy and fashionable young men and women posing in groups, with professional photographers taking pictures. I thought they were models, but some said they were internet celebrities. Anyway, I didn't recognize anyone. It is said that weddings are occasionally held here, which is quite romantic. Further on, you reach the beach. One more thing: there are hidden reefs under the water in Haitang Bay, so swimming in the sea is not allowed. We booked a sea-view room with twin beds. The balcony offers a close view of the "private ocean" and a distant view of the sea. Since the hotel has a curved design, all room balconies should have a sea view, differing only in angle. Special mention should be made of the infinity pool and the starry sky bar on the twelfth floor. The infinity pool is perfect for photos, creating the illusion that the pool water extends to the horizon. At night, the starry sky bar offers a stunning view of the night sky and twinkling lights.
