Stay in a super cost-effective hotel in Sanya I went to Hainan a few days ago and I would like to share the hotel I stayed in Sanya. 🏫Location: Hongguang Village, Yalong Bay 👫Per capita: 200+ per night in off-season There are four bays in Sanya. Accommodation in Yalong Bay is relatively more expensive and more suitable for vacation. The water quality is better than that in Sanya Bay and Dadonghai Bay, which are closer to the city. If you have a budget, just go for it. It’s June in Sanya’s off-season and prices are very cheap. We were two students and didn’t have a lot of budget, so we chose to live in Hongguang Village, which is a little bit out of the way. Advantages: The hotel has a wide view and the room is large. This room has floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. There is an extra long dressing table where you can put on makeup and wash up. But you can only see a little bit of fields across the swimming pool. The swimming pool is great for taking photos at night, and the blue lights look very dreamy. The service of the staff was also very good. Our bathroom was blocked for a while and they came up to fix it right away. Disadvantages: The hotel is a bit remote and it takes a long bus ride from the airport. 1.5h, and it takes about 1h by taxi. There is a Bohou Night Market about a 15-minute walk away, which is relatively empty at night. Moreover, most of the scenic spots are in Sanya Bay. If you don’t rent a car, you can only rely on taxis, which is a huge expense. It is recommended to travel with 4 people. The hotel has breakfast but the selection is very limited and it is served from 8:00 to 9:30. Tips: If you are arriving at Haikou Meilan Airport, you can go directly to the underground first floor to take the high-speed train to Yalong Bay Station, which is closer to the hotel. It takes at least 50 minutes by taxi from Sanya Phoenix Airport to the hotel, and 1.5 hours by bus. I ordered takeout twice at the hotel. I recommend Baoluo noodles, Yisela Xinjiang fried rice noodles, and Buzaike seafood.
