Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone

Address: Nanshan Scenic Area, Yacheng Town, Yazhou District, Sanya City Opening Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Tickets: ¥129; Sightseeing Car: ¥30; Sightseeing Boat: ¥98 Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone is a national 5A tourist attraction, featuring major sights such as Nanshan Temple, the Sea-based Guanyin, the Unique Dharma Gate, Guanyin Culture Garden, Indian Sacred Relics, Buddhist Scenic Garden, Ten Directions Pagoda Forest and Returning to the Root Garden, Buddhist Cultural Exchange Center, and a Vegetarian Shopping Street, among others. Although there are many attractions in Nanshan Tourism Zone, such as tree houses and the Valley of Longevity, a must-visit is Nanshan Temple, and the 108-meter-tall Guanyin statue standing on the waves cannot be overlooked. The Nanshan Sea-based Guanyin statue is located on the sea-based Diamond Islet (Guanyin Island) with a diameter of 120 meters, connected to the mainland by the 280-meter-long Puji Bridge. The Nanshan Sea-based Guanyin statue is a three-in-one integrated statue of the Bodhisattva Guanyin, with each of the three faces looking different. One must walk around to see the full view of the three Guanyin statues with different hand gestures. Due to the large size of the park, it is recommended to take the sightseeing car to save a lot of walking effort; to see the three-faced Guanyin, one must take a boat out to sea.
