The first thing I felt upon arriving in Oia was, 'This is why people say you must visit this place.' The white walls and blue roofs lining the alleys, combined with the Aegean Sea stretching out below the hills, created a picturesque scene. During the day, the village was bright and lively, bathed in sunlight, but as the sun began to set, the entire village was painted in golden hues, transforming into a romantic atmosphere. The most famous sunset spots were already crowded with people, but even if you weren't at those specific locations, you could enjoy the beautiful sunset from anywhere. Sitting quietly in a serene alley, feeling the breeze, and watching the sky change colors was the most memorable moment for me. Rather than searching for famous restaurants or cafes, simply walking and taking in the sights was more than enough.
