Cruise to experience the stunning scenery of the World Heritage Rhine Valley

Soon after arriving in Germany, my colleagues and friends all recommended The classic travel route from Rudesheim to Koblenz is to take a cruise down the Rhine and explore the scenery on both sides of the Rhine. The stunning scenery and countless ancient castles on both sides of this section of the Rhine Valley have been listed as a World Heritage Site. The Rhine River is about 1,230 kilometers long. It originates in the Swiss Alps and flows into the North Sea in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. More than half of it flows through Germany and is known as Germany's "Father River". We took a KD sightseeing boat (the peak season is from mid-April to mid-October, with at least 5 sailings per day during this period), and most importantly, we chose a weekend in July with clear and sunny weather. First, take a train from Düsseldorf upstream through Koblenz to Rüdesheim. The train runs at 60 to 70 kilometers per hour. You can see a lot of things along the way, and you will be amazed and full of expectations all the way. Take a KD cruise from Rudesheim down the river. The vineyards on both sides of the valley are rolling and the pastoral scenery is very beautiful. There are many small towns on both sides of the valley, each with its own characteristics, and countless ancient castles, some on the top of the mountain, some halfway up the mountain, and some right by the river. Every once in a while, the cruise ship will stop at a city or town on the shore. You can choose to take a small boat to the town you want to visit, and take the next boat to continue downstream. It is very convenient. For friends who come to Germany for tourism, it is recommended to take a boat trip. You can basically see all the sights in one day. If you have plenty of time, you can stay overnight in a small town in the middle to savor the beautiful scenery and fine wine.
