It is a small city with both mountains and the sea, beaches, shopping areas, and is a popular resort town for Spanish and French people. The purpose of coming here is to eat Pintxos. Pintxos are small bites of food that are famous here. 3 great restaurants in San Sebastián. -Mesón Portaletas -Borda Berri -Bar Nestor Actually, I tried many restaurants, but I have selected the most important ones. Everyone who comes here must eat Pintxos, otherwise, it is considered that you have not arrived. All three restaurants are in the Old Town area. The first restaurant, Mesón Portaletas The Pintxos here are large pieces with a lot to choose from. The taste is delicious and spicy. Go light with a large piece of fois gras, shrimp with bacon, anchovy with bell peppers, Iberico ham sandwich, squid with cheese, goat cheese with sun-dried tomato with honey. Iberico pork with mash potatoes. Pays-Bas rice sausage with 2 glasses of Sangria. There are 3 sizes on the menu: small, medium, large. We chose the small pintxos so that we could try many things. Started with fois gras terrine, followed by Risotto. I can say that I came here for this. They said that the flour used to make rice is very delicious. And it really didn't disappoint. But the must-order double is the lobster Ravioli, bursting with filling, extremely delicious. This shop does not focus on pintxos, but it is heaven for meat lovers. The shop is very small but always full of people. You have to stand and wait a bit, but it is worth it. Here, people come to eat T-bone meat. The staff will bring meat for you to choose. When you have finished choosing, you have to choose a side dish, tomato or grilled pepper. No doubt, we will choose grilled pepper for sure. I glanced at the pintxos, which is a Spanish omelet, so I ordered it as another side dish. It was very delicious. After a while, they served the meat on a hot pan. There was no sauce, but the meat tasted very good. The level of doneness was excellent. Pair it with a glass of red wine or Estrella Galicia beer.
