A MUST DO IN CHIANG MAI — HOT AIR BALLOON 🎈

#timetotravel Amazing start to finish thanks to the crew at Balloon Adventure Thailand!! When we were in Chiang Mai, we stayed at Verandah High Resort. Since we have to reach the take off place at around 6 am, Balloon Adventure Thailand organised a driver to pick us up at 5 am. When we reached, we filled in the standard forms and then we were brought to observe the crew set up the hot air balloon and preparing for take off. We were the only 2 people on the hot air balloon apart from the pilot and his assistant. The pilot is a lovely guy, we had conversations during the ride and he told us he is the first Thailand pilot. Before the pandemic, he would go around the world and represent Thailand in different hot air balloon events, how cool is that!! A normal ride would take about 30 minutes but because the wind was stronger, the pilot took a longer time to find a place to land. I guess this is to our advantage as the ride is longer haha!! After the ride, we popped a bottle of champagne (at 9 am in the morning 😮) This is such an unforgettable experience!! #境外遊 #thailand #chiangmai #hotairballon
