San Diego

San Diego is an amazing city situated in Southern California. It has an airport with links to many domestic US cities and a greyhound bus terminal. The city itself is small enough that it’s easy to travel around. Alongside the beach is a boardwalk with a nice theme park and some small shops and cafe/restaurants. Away from the coast is the famous gas lamp quarter full of great bars and restaurants. The San Diego Zoo is one of the most famous zoos in the world featuring pandas and other animals which hard to see in other countries. If you’re feeling adventurous then you can also do a day trip to Mexico and visit the city of Tijuana which lies close to the border.
