Visit the Beautiful Maha Parinibbana Ubosot

🏤 Wat Tha Mai was established in 1989 and received the royal permission for its boundary in 1994. Originally known as Phothi Tham Rangsi (Tha Mai) Monastery, it was granted a permit by the Department of Religious Affairs on November 1, 1977, eventually receiving permission to build the temple. Key attractions within the temple include: 🏤 The Maha Parinibbana Ubosot, which features architecture similar to northern churches. The front area is adorned with beautifully carved white marble pillars that line up to the ubosot. The entrance is gracefully decorated with golden Naga statues. 🧎♂️ Inside the ubosot, the principal Buddha image is a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat, along with Phra Chiang Saen, Phra Sukhothai, and Phra U Thong images. The walls are beautifully adorned with gold leaf patterns. 🧎♀️ Wat Tha Mai conducts various ceremonies such as teacher blessings, karma cleansing, merit-making, and fortune enhancement.
