Bangkok Photography | A one-stop guide to the ancient city of Siam in Thailand
The ancient city of Siam is a worthwhile attraction, somewhat similar to the domestic Window of the World
But it's much larger than the Window of the World, and you can see Thai-style landscapes all at once
It's very suitable for sisters who love photography
📍Transportation
1 Take the bts line to kheha, get off at kheha
2 After getting off the bts, go down the stairs at exit 3 and you will see the 36 double-decker bus that can take you to the bridge at the entrance of the ancient city
📍Ticket purchase
1 Buying a package ticket online is cheaper than on-site, just show the purchase confirmation to the staff
📍Inside visit
I suggest you rent a car, a golf cart, which can shade the sun and rain
It's very big inside, it takes us almost 3h to visit by car
350🐷, this price feels quite cost-effective in the scenic spot
📍Thai costume rental
Next to the car rental is a Thai costume rental, the price is 600🐷 unlimited time, return before the park closes at 6 pm. The clothes feel very good, but do not include makeup and styling
I can't do hair, there is a clothing rental shop at the entrance, an old lady buys a 100🐷 headdress from her shop, she will do your hair for free.
Bangkok | Who knows, after a day in the ancient city of Siam, it feels like I've traveled all over Thailand
Thailand is really a place you never get tired of, there are only 0️⃣ times and N times, and each time you can discover different ways to play.
The first time I went to Bangkok, it was a special forces style trip. In just two days, I experienced the lights on the top floor of Marriott, the hustle and bustle of the weekend market, the romance of the riverside restaurant, the leisure of the green courtyard... I understood a multifaceted Bangkok in the shortest time.
This time, I don't want to tire myself out so much, I go to one place a day. I went to the ancient city of Siam, which I regretted missing before, for an immersive experience. I never expected that after visiting one attraction, I would feel like I had traveled all over Thailand.
📮Ancient City of Siam
The world's largest outdoor cultural heritage museum, opened in 1972 by the King Rama IX of Thailand and Queen Elizabeth II of England. The collection comes from historical relics of various periods in Thailand, spanning over eight hundred years.
I've known about the ancient city of Siam for a long time. Running Man once recorded here, many Thai dramas were filmed here, but it was only after I really walked in that I realized that there are so many treasure check-in places here.
Must check-in
✅Sanphet Prasat Palace
✅Infinity Buddha Realm
✅Arhat Hall
Must experience
✅Thai costume travel shoot
✅Ride an elephant
✅Boating

The Erawan Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
If I could only go to one place in Bangkok, I would definitely choose this place
🇹🇭I've been playing in Bangkok for a week, and this is my favorite place~
The Erawan Museum
It's the kind of place that will make you go 'wow' as soon as you walk in.
-
💛The ticket price on site is 400 baht, but it's a bit cheaper for foreigners, you can book it online for 50-60R.
-
The best time for taking photos is from 16 to 17 o'clock, the only downside is that there is no air conditioning inside, the day we went was cool, otherwise it would be a bit like a steamer.
-
❤️Outfit suggestions:
Any color that matches with pink is super suitable, such as light blue, white, silver, light gold.
A flowing long skirt will add more beauty~
-
🚌Transportation:
221,99/9, Tambon Bang Muang Mai, Amphoe Mueang Samut Prakan, Chang Wat Samut Prakan
Take the BTS Sukhumvit line to Chang Erawan station exit 2, it's about a 10-minute walk.
-
❤️Photo angles:
1⃣The classic front entrance, wide angle, can accommodate more space, the photo is super shocking
2⃣The stairs on the left and right sides are symmetrical, you can take a top-down shot from anywhere, one side is pink, the other side is white, both are beautiful
3⃣Take a shot from the stairs to the ceiling, this dome is just too beautiful for words
4⃣There are also many angles outside, as long as it's in the sunlight, any shot will be beautiful

Erawan Museum in Bangkok
After so many trips to Bangkok I decided to visit Erawan Museum. I took BTS train in Siam Station and arrived to Chang Erawan station. it tools me around 40 minutes. From Chang Erawan BTS station I took exit 1 and walk around 15 minutes to museum. You can buy tickets on the entrance for 400 THB, or book online here with cheaper prices. Next to the tickets booth you can buy some Thai snacks and drinks.
Museum itself is wonderful. Looks like a mix of Chinese, Thai and Indian cultures. Many interesting things to discover for yourself. Museum surrounded with many elephants.
This place is also very instagramable. You can take a lot of nice photos.

Stunning pink museum in Bangkok 💗💗
Famous for its giant three-headed elephant art display, Erawan Museum is divided into three main floors according to the Hindu representation of the universe, which consists of the Underworld, Earth, and Heaven.
Mesmerized by the stained-glass roof as you walk up the stairways the moment you entered the museum. The highest floor is what Thais believe to be heaven, is painted with a star map and exhibits various buddha statues. Don't forget to check out their small but neat garden and their shrines on your way out.
🚝 easiest way to reach is by train (about 35mins ride from the city center, with 10mins walk from Chang Erawan BTS).
🎟 400 baht for foreigners
⏰ 9am - 7pm. Best time to visit is in the morning or nearer to closing time for a lesser crowd although this place isn’t as crowded as Wat Arun or the Grand Palace. We reached around 10am and have the whole place to (almost) ourselves.
👗 no sleeveless attires and above knee-length skirts or pants.

Bang Pu Recreation Center Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Feed the birds @Bangpu Recreation Center
#celebratewithtrip
Feed the birds at Bangpu Recreation Center in Samutprakarn province can be a day trip from Bangkok (combine with Ancient city or/and Asokaram Temple). It’s far from Bangkok 46 kms (~1 hr).
We can buy the food (fried pig fat) from the stall on the bridge, it costs 20, 40 Baht. Washbasin was prepared nearby.
All the birds flew from China (winter season) and stay in Thailand during October to May in each year.
There is a restaurant located end of the bridge where we can have lunch or dinner.
Bang Pu Recreation Area
#songkran2024
The Bang Pu Recreation Area is a popular coastal retreat located in Samut Prakan province, just outside Bangkok, Thailand. Known for its scenic views of the Gulf of Thailand, it offers a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors can enjoy picnics, leisurely strolls along the beach, and birdwatching at the nearby Bang Pu Seaside Resort. The area is particularly famous for its migratory bird population, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Thailand Chonburi | Seagulls cross Siberia for a once-a-year rendezvous
Every year from November to March, thousands of seagulls migrate from Siberia to Thailand to escape the cold.
We went there in early January, and there were many seagulls. If you want to feed them, you need to buy special food (which feels like fried dough), 20 baht per bowl. If you are in Thailand recently, you might as well go and see it! After all, it's a once-a-year meeting, a date from far away Siberia!
It takes about 50 minutes to drive from Bangkok to Bang Pu in North Lan. There is no public transportation nearby, so it is recommended to drive by yourself. You can also take the BTS to Kheha station and then take a songthaew or taxi.
Address: Bangpu Recreation Center (There are several piers along the coast, this is the most concentrated seagulls, of course, the most tourists)
No need for tickets, it is recommended to go from 4 pm to 6 pm, the sunset scenery is the most beautiful. The sun is too hot at noon, and the seagulls are not active.

It serves as a living testament to the country's rich history and is a must-visit for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Thailand's past and present.
Muang Boran - The Ancient City
If you find yourself in Bangkok, this is a must-see. We spent pretty much the entire day here just driving and wandering around in awe. We didn't get to see everything and would definitely go back a second time.
The buffet offers a decent array of Thai food as well as a bit of entertainment (Thai dancing and music).
There's a lot of ground to cover, so you might want to hire a golf cart. Don't forget to take your Passport/ID or driver's license with, as it's needed as a deposit on the golf cart.
