An Ancient Cemetery in the Heart of the City

#celebratewithtrip St. Peter‘s cemetery is an oldest cemetery in Salzburg. It is on the foot of Hohensalzburg Castle. Visiting the cemetery was like a walk from the past. There were tombs that were really old and even century older! It was a very quiet place even it‘s in the heart of the city where plenty of tourists busy sightseeing while their tourist guides explained the landmarks. The place was somewhat like a museum. It was well taken cared of, as were there, the gardeners and the care taker of the cemetery were busy cleaning and maintaining the area! The flower beds were best maintained.
