Krasae Cave

A famous tourist attraction in Kanchanaburi that you must not miss is Krasae Cave because it is located next to the Death Railway, which is one of the historical sites during World War II. This cave used to be a place for prisoners of war to stay when the Death Railway was built from Thailand to Burma. The cave is next to the Kanchanaburi-Namtok railway, a historical railway from World War II that currently ends at Namtok Railway Station. Inside the cave is an open space and there is a sacred Buddha image enshrined. Looking from the mouth of the cave to the railway, you will see beautiful scenery and the Kwai Noi River below.
