Khao Nam Khang Historical Tunnel is situated in Mu 1, Ban Piyamit 5, Tambon Klongkwang, Natawee District, Songkhla Province, four Km from Khao Nam Khang National Park. This area was once a communist village and tunnels were built in the mountains to provide housing and shelter for the Communist people… but after the Communist Party declared an end to the fighting, the tunnel is now open to public as a unique new tourist attraction…. The tunnel is about 1,000 meters long, and is divided into many sections such as bed rooms, cooking room, signals office, meeting room, shooting range, emergency room, etc. There is also a restaurant serving delicious and healthy dishes, souvenir shop and herbal remedies shop at the tunnel complex.
