There are many tropical rain forests in Yunnan. The Mori Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area is located 25 kilometers northeast of Ruili City and belongs to the national 4A scenic spots. It is warm and humid, with plenty of sunshine. The forest coverage rate is over 96%. There are 1,540 plant species, 479 species of flowers and spices, and more than a dozen rare species protected by the state. According to the story of the Buddhist scriptures, the Buddha has shunned the world to practice here, and many moving stories with elephants, monkeys and other creatures have been handed down to this day.
