📍Address: Roppongi Observatory, Tokyo Roppongi Hills Observatory is closer to Tokyo Tower (only one subway stop) than the popular Shibuya Sky Observatory where tickets are hard to buy. It also offers a great vantage point for taking photos of the port area. 🔥🔥😎 Just follow the signs for Tokyo Sky View after exiting Roppongi subway station. It is not in the office tower but on the third floor on a spiral staircase next to it. Time: It is recommended to go there at 6 pm, so you can take pictures from dusk to sunset and then to the lights coming on. I stayed there for a full 2 ​​hours. Unfortunately the weather was bad that day and the sunset was blocked by clouds, but I still managed to take pictures of the Tokyo Tower from dusk to night. 😍 Buy tickets: There are not many people buying tickets on site, but it is recommended to buy them online in advance! You have to go according to the appointment time or a little earlier. I arrived 20 minutes early and the staff lady would not let me in early, but I was able to enter 10 minutes later. I was the only one in the elevator going up, and I was there when I got out of the elevator. 🤗🥰 Camera position: In order to eliminate the reflection on the glass at night, a dark room with 4 compartments was thoughtfully set up. I didn’t have to queue up at all when taking the first two photos. When taking photos, there were a lot of people and I had to queue up for about 20 minutes.
