There are many houses in fishing villages with seaweed roofs in the Rongcheng area of ​​Weihai. Some of them are attached to the roofs of newly built European-style buildings, which have a unique flavor. The village we visited was on the street of Dongchu Island Scenic Area. It was a large area of ​​seaweed houses and villages. There aren't many people in the village, and the sun is shining brightly, so it's quite hot. Suitable for taking photos and checking in, not too commercial. No tickets are required here. The village has direct access to the sea. Imagine when it snows in winter, the rooftops are covered with thick seaweed and snow, and this place should be as beautiful as a fairy tale world. It's a pity that I felt a bit unsatisfied after the tour. It would be more perfect if more characteristic seaweed houses could be added and the streets in the village were renovated. But the advantage is that it has been well preserved in its original state...
