Flavian Amphitheatre

Located just east of the Roman Forum, one will find the most impressive amphitheatre ever, which is known as the Colosseum. It was constructed around 70 AD and completed in 80 AD. It is also one of the famous attractions of Rome and there are over 6 million visitors per year. It is important to check the opening hours before visiting because it depends on the seasons. For example, it closes slightly earlier during the winter season.
