🫧 ˚📇�📈�📏�🐚 Rizhao Want to see the sea this weekend? A two-hour high-speed train ride directly to Rizhao. The sea in Rizhao is so clean, and there are hardly any people on the beach during the off-season. 🏠Stay at the Ibis Hotel near the Lighthouse Scenic Area. Even in the off-season, a panoramic sea view room is only 200+ RMB. The Lighthouse Scenic Area is right downstairs. On the first day, you can watch the sunset and light show over the lighthouse around 4 or 5 pm; in winter, the sunrise is late, so you only need to get up at 6:50 am to watch the sunrise from the pale pinkish-purple sky to the stunning golden yellow hue! 🌊Rizhao has a long coastline. On the first day, stroll around the area near the lighthouse scenic spot. On the second day, go from Shanhaitian Sunshine Coast (near Love Tree Branch) to Taigong Island Oyster Park (where you can find many beautiful seashells 🐚) to Wanpingkou Gate 2 and Gate 3 (where there are many beautiful spots for taking photos by the sea). Rizhao has so many delicious foods! 1⃣Grandma Yan's Dumpling Soup, Hawthorn Ribs, Clam Stir-fried Chicken, Hot and Sour Shredded Potatoes This place was highly recommended by a junior who studied in Rizhao, and it's really delicious 😋 The hawthorn is refreshing, the clam stir-fried chicken is numbing and fragrant, and the hot and sour shredded potatoes are only 6 yuan! 2⃣Your Home Fish Restaurant: Sea Cucumber Rice, Sea Urchin Dumplings Millet and potato shreds Sea cucumber rice was delicious, the rice with sea cucumber, minced meat, and scrambled eggs was even better than what I had in Qingdao, hehe; the sea urchin dumplings were freshly made, and even more fragrant with the secret garlic sauce. This place also has a signature cheese potato, but unfortunately the oven was broken when we went, so we didn't get to try it. 3⃣ Wangwang Seafood BBQ We ordered takeout from this place. The beef skewers were very fragrant, and the grilled gluten was also good, the seasoning was very flavorful~ Shandong dishes are so large in portion size, there were still a few restaurants I saved that I didn't have room for, I'll go back next time.
