Choosing a hotel in Rizhao is definitely a skill. The first two times I came, I stayed near Lighthouse Square and Wanpingkou Beach, but it felt a bit inconvenient at night. This time, I chose the Hilton Hampton by Hilton in Dongyi Town. For just over two hundred, it included a double breakfast, which is excellent value. The breakfast was quite substantial. There was a type of square tofu cake that tasted good, but unfortunately, the haishazimian (sea sand noodles) soup wasn't rich enough. The small wontons were delicious. The young man at the front desk was very professional and explained everything clearly. The room was also good, with comfortable bedding. Although it's a Hampton, it's still managed under the Hilton brand, so it's guaranteed quality. The hotel parking lot has both above-ground and underground parking, and it's free if you register at the front desk. The adjacent Dongyi Town is not only beautiful but also very well-developed, with a dazzling array of seafood feasts and local snacks. The local tourism and property management deserve a lot of credit. Wanpingkou Gate 4 is just across the street.
