This palace is a representative of 1930s architecture, combining traditional Najdi architectural style with modern thinking at the time. The heavy mud brick walls, carved wooden doors and palm beams reveal the elegance and simplicity of desert civilization everywhere. The entire palace is divided into the main hall, courtyard and ancillary buildings. Walking in the corridors, it seems to hear the whispers of history, telling the process of the kingdom's transformation from Bedouin to a modern country. My favorite is the royal reception room, which is simple and majestic, and the walls still retain early royal photos and ancient maps. There is also a King Abdulaziz Memorial Hall on site, which displays the king's life and early government documents, which is worth savoring. The palace is located in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, adjacent to the National Museum. It is recommended to arrange a visit together. The tickets are free and there are not many tourists. It is a good place to quietly appreciate the history and feel the changes of Saudi Arabia. This is not only a palace, but also a memory of the country.
