Riga just has so many affordable yet delicious seafood options

#celebrateit Passed by this place and found it has a really affordable menu, especially seafood pasta and risotto. And reviews years ago seemed to suggest them to be divine. It turned out that for the pasta, it’s really quite good in value, coming with scallop, baby octopus etc, and they are all fresh. But as opposed to the earlier reviews/pictures, it doesn’t seem to be using fresh made pasta (but store bought linguine); and taste-wise it’s a tad bland, and the cheese on top wasn’t of good quality (quite sourish). As for the fish croquette, it’s the most disappointing part of the visit. It’s almost entirely potato, no taste of cod/prawn at all, only some bit of prawn traces can be seen. However, kudos to the waitress. She was very busy in the premise, but managed to efficiently handle all chores while maintaining positive attitude and smile. Without her, this is a 3-star review at most.
